Mylocum Group Ltd (referred to as “Mylocum”, “we”, “us” or “our”) Healthcare Recruitment Agency is pleased to offer a referral scheme to its registered, previously registered practitioners (referred to as “you”, “your” or “referrers”) in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below. By participating in our referral scheme, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. As a referrer, you may refer qualified healthcare practitioners (referred to as “Referee/Referees”) to Mylocum by providing their name, profession and email address.
2.1 The Mylocum Refer A Friend scheme and these below-mentioned terms and conditions apply to instances of a candidate referral to Mylocum.
2.2 The accrued bonuses herein outlined are effective as of 27th March 2023
2.3 Any referrals made by the submission of the website form, verbal/telephonic communication to a recruitment consultant or in writing are all effective communications and will be accepted as a referral provided the said referrals adhere to the course of law.
3.1 To participate in our referral scheme, you must be a healthcare practitioner who currently is or has been already registered with Mylocum.
3.2 You must also be aged 18 years or over and a resident of the United Kingdom.
3.3 The Referrer must have explicit consent from the Referee to provide their details to Mylocum. For a recommendation to be considered valid, it is required to contain the referee’s full name, profession, and contact information.
3.4 The Mylocum team responsible for reviewing the recommendation shall reach out to the Referee to confirm their consent to be recommended, with the ultimate goal of obtaining employment opportunities for them.
3.5 To meet the criteria for a valid recommendation, the Referee must successfully pass all required checks to verify their compliance with relevant regulations and their eligibility to work.
*Mylocum follows Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) best practice guidelines. Under these guidelines, the referee will need to meet our compliance standards.
4.1 The Referee is a qualified healthcare professional who’s eligible to work in the United Kingdom and is deemed compliant wrt REC.
4.2 Qualifying hours met.
4.3 The Referee completes the qualifying hours within a set time frame of the recommendation being made.
4.4 All additional requirements are being met as specified in these terms and conditions with elaborations in the Referral Scheme Chart below.
5.1 We will pay you a referral fee which will be subject to tax and national insurance for each successful referral made by you. A successful referral is defined as a referee who signs up with Mylocum, passes our standard vetting procedures, and meets our set requirements as stated in 4.1 – 4.4.
5.2 The fee varies across specialties (you can refer to the Referral Scheme Chart below for the exact amounts).
5.3 When necessary, we reserve the right to offer an alternative reward of the same value.
5.4 It is the sole responsibility of the Referrer to claim their bonus payment by contacting the Mylocum team within three months from the date at which the Referee completes the qualifying hours as stated in 4.3.
6.1 We take your data privacy seriously and will process your personal data as per the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
6.2 By participating in our referral scheme, you agree that we may use your personal data to administer the scheme and to contact you about your referrals.
6.3 We will not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
7.1 You must not refer individuals who are already registered with Mylocum or who have been referred to us by another referrer.
7.2 You must not engage in any fraudulent or misleading activity when referring individuals to Mylocum.
8.1 We reserve the right to terminate the referral scheme without having to pay any outstanding claims or to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
8.2 We reserve the right to withhold payment of any referral fee if we suspect fraudulent or misleading activity.
8.3 We reserve the right to reject a recommendation if the Referee has not provided consent to their personal data being submitted to Mylocum or has not met any of the eligibility criteria listed in these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and any disputes arising under them shall not be subject to the jurisdiction of any courts. Mylocum’s decision concerning the referral scheme shall be final and binding, and there shall be no recourse to the court or any other legal process to challenge or dispute that decision.
