Coronavirus (COVID-19): Prevent not Panic – Guidance for Candidates

Firstly, we would like to thank all the healthcare workers working exceptionally hard and making a real impact. Your professionalism and work has never been more vital or more valued.

As global concern about the current COVID-19 outbreak grows, it is crucial for us, especially the healthcare workers to stay aware and informed about the necessary steps to take in different scenarios. If you are a healthcare worker, within and outside the NHS, including clinical administration staff, and care home staff, it is extremely important that you do not visit any healthcare settings if there is a risk you could spread COVID-19.

It is your responsibility to inform us immediately if you have been in contact with someone with coronavirus or have returned from an affected area identified by the Chief Medical Officer as high risk and if you are feeling unwell with a cough, difficulty breathing or fever. If you have been working when you begin to feel symptoms or suspect an infection, immediately notify Mylocum as it is imperative we notify the client immediately of the risk of infection to other staff and patients.

Please refer to the attached documents to know more about the main guidelines, type of exposure and self-isolation guide by Public Health England.  Please make sure you are familiar with the latest version:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_btn title=\”Guidance for Healthcare Providers\” shape=\”square\” color=\”peacoc\” size=\”lg\” align=\”center\” link=\”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.gov.uk%2Fgovernment%2Fpublications%2Fnovel-coronavirus-2019-ncov-guidance-for-healthcare-providers-with-staff-who-have-travelled-to-china%2Fguidance-for-healthcare-providers-healthcare-workers-who-have-travelled-to-china|||\”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]If you are an Mylocum Group agency worker, you must contact us if there are changes to the responses you have previously given us or if you are required to self-isolate.
